Adult and Pediatric First Aid / CPR / AED Certification

March 9 @ 8:30 am 11:30 am

SPACE invites you to get CPR certified! Every second counts when it comes to cardiac emergencies and knowing CPR literally saves lives. Partnering with Vibrant Hawai’i and the Red Road Resilience Hub, SPACE is proud to bring this course to you at an affordable sliding scale fee!

Training Information

This course will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid breathing and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children and infants and meets OSHA/workplace requirements. This is a blended learning course including an online portion and an instructor-led classroom skill session. The online portion must be completed prior to attending the in-class portion and must be taken on a computer, laptop or tablet with a good Internet connection. Allow approximately 2 hours 30 minutes to complete the online portion.

Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a digital certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED, valid for two years.

Certification

Completion of both the online training and hands-on skills session is required to be certified. All students who successfully complete both portions of the training will receive an OSHA compliant, 2-year First Aid/CPR/AED certification, from the American Red Cross.

The Red Cross digital certificate provides anytime, anywhere access to student training history and course certificates. Digital certificates can be viewed, printed or shared online and can be accessed anytime through your Red Cross Account. Each certificate includes a unique ID and a QR code which meets employment requirements and allows employers to easily confirm your certificate is valid. There is no need to carry your printed certificate around anymore!

Continuing Education
Nurses, social workers, teachers and day care providers and other professionals who need continuing education units to maintain licensure or certification can obtain CEUs through your Red Cross account. This course counts towards 6 contact hours and 0.6 CEUs.
