Board of Directors

Henrik Bothe
President
Co Founder of Hawaii’s Volcano Circus 1987, International Circus Artist
Mika Kiburz
Director
Circus found Mika among renegade jugglers in the jungles of Hawaii, in 2010. Over the years she has participated in numerous juggling festivals, busked in many cities, performed for school groups in the United States, Central America, and has completed two Performers Without Borders tours in India. She led the 2016 tour of 8 performers, performed over 25 circus shows, and reached thousands of Indian and Nepali children in 4 months. First a juggler, now Mika is a believer in the healing power of sacred clown and through teaching adult workshops clown encourages us to be witnessed. She believes that social circus is truly a way to inspire confidence, cooperation, team building and create fun for kids and adults in a non competitive community. Mika is proud to keep returning to SPACE, a place where circus was introduced to not only her, but hundreds of others!
