The gala show will be on 2/21 (Saturday) at 5pm. Saturday show tickets are included with any festival ticket or Saturday day ticket. They can also be purchased separately. In addition to the gala show, there will be another run of the show at the Palace Theater in Hilo on 2/28 (the next weekend), with doors opening at 6pm.

The History
The history of this festival goes back all the way to the 90s. A group of extravagant jugglers ventured their way to the Hawaiian outback with an idea—buy land and start a community… After some success, they decided to bring other jugglers out through a festival, but they didn’t have a facility to host them, so they hosted it at Spencers Beach Park. They hosted many festivals camping on the Kona side of the island, where, they may have created Volley Club! Now, 20 years later, we are bring this festival back through the third annual Hawaii Island Juggling Festival! For a little taste of previous years, check out this video.

Event Days and Time
The festival will run from Feb 20–22, 2026 (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). Each day will start at 9am, except for Friday which will start at 10am. Each day will end at 7:30pm.
Amenities
SPACE is a circus training facility and small rural middle school. As such, it provides WiFi, water, bathrooms, wall plugs, basic medical aid, and best of all, tall ceilings! It is located in a rural area with the nearest town a 20 minute drive, although, there is a convenience store within 10 minutes. There will be a couple food vendors at the festival.
Getting There
The festival address is 12-253 W. Pohakupele Loop, Pahoa, HI 96778. Hilo has the closest airport (ITO) to SPACE, which is an hour away. To coordinate rides please use the Facebook group here. The Kona airport (KOA) is usually cheaper but is about two and a half hour drive away. Buses are free on the Big Island, however, they are often 30-50 min late.
Exploring Hawaii
The Big Island is a wonderful place to visit with incredible natural beauty. As the largest island (all the other main islands combined can fit inside it!) it can be hard to navigate and find the best place to visit while remembering to Aloha A’ina (take care of the land). Some close places to visit include:
– Kehena black sand (nude) beach: approximately 5 min drive
– Kaimū Black Sand Beach: approximately 15 min drive
– Pahoa Village: approximately 20 min drive
– Hawaiis Volcano National Park: approximately 50 min drive
– Hilo: approximately 50 min drive

Family Friendly Event and New Jugglers
This is a family friendly event, please refrain from using drugs or alcohol and bring your kids! You are welcome even if you do not know how to juggle! Jugglers love to teach new folk!
Volunteering
We love volunteers! If you want to help out during the festival please fill out the volunteer form, where you can specify which jobs you want to do. Volunteers will get a free ticket to the festival for all three days.
Hosting a Workshop
Workshops are an amazing way to teach fellow jugglers something you’ve been working on. We are currently accepting workshop submissions for the festival. Teachers will get a free ticket to the festival! Please use the link below to sign up.
Performing in the Show
Both the SPACE gala show and Palace theater gala show are full. Thank you to those who are going to perform in them. We are excited to create these two shows.
Vending at the Festival
We will be having a couple food vendors and a couple prop vendors. We will reach out to people we think fit nicely for these roles. If you would like to do either of these, please reach out through email.
